Be found when people search — and when AI answers.
Search is splitting into two behaviours. People still search and click links, and increasingly they ask a question and read an answer composed for them. Being visible now means being findable in both.
SEO is the familiar half: technical health, content that answers real queries, and the authority signals that decide who ranks. GEO — generative engine optimisation — is the newer half: being the source an AI system quotes when it composes an answer.
The two share foundations but differ in emphasis. Ranking rewards depth and links. Being cited rewards clarity, structure and verifiable facts stated plainly enough that a machine can repeat them without hedging.
In Arabic-speaking markets this is still unusually winnable. Arabic search results are thinner than English ones, and far fewer organisations have done the structural work.
GEO, or generative engine optimisation, is the practice of making a brand findable and citable inside AI-generated answers such as Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Copilot, rather than only in traditional search results.
SEO aims to rank a page in a list of links. GEO aims to have a brand quoted as a source when an AI system composes an answer. The two overlap in technical foundations but differ in how content and structured data are prepared.
Yes. Feker works on Arabic and English search together, covering technical SEO, editorial and entity work, which matters because search behaviour and phrasing differ between the two languages in MENA markets.
